Efficiency Education Project
The mission of the Energy
Efficiency Education Project is to educate consumers, businesses, and
government agencies (the general public) about energy efficiency and its benefits to society and the environment.
Educational areas include residential and commercial building energy efficiency
as well as teaching others about the link between energy efficiency and water
conservation.
The Energy Efficiency Education
Project was created to support the educational activities of the Energy
Efficiency Business Coalition. As a 501(c)(3), the Energy Efficiency Education
Project can accept tax-deductible donations and leverage relevant grant
funding.
Current Activities
- Educating
the public about utility energy efficiency programs and their benefits to
society and the environment.
- Educating
the public about the Clean Power Plan and the benefits of incorporating energy
efficiency programs into state-wide implementation plans.
- Educating the public about how energy efficiency can
contribute to the prevention of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas
emissions.
- Educating
the public about how saving energy also saves water.
