EEBC's Commercial and Industrial (C&I) HVAC+R Action Council is reaching out to industry members who participated in developing a response to Xcel Energy's 90 Day Notice cancelling of the HVAC+R Midstream Cooling Rebate Program last year.

If there is sufficient interest from your company and the group, EEBC will support a working group to craft a proposal capturing your needs. EEBC’s legal team will then submit it in Xcel Energy’s 2027-29 Megadocket for reinstatement of a new and improved commercial HVAC+R Midstream Rebate Program on your behalf.

Based on program data and feedback from you (the distributors and industry stakeholder partners), the former midstream program proved to be much more accessible, efficient, and effective than Xcel Energy’s current downstream replacement program.
