Let’s Get Ready to Take Action on: Influencing the HPWH Midstream Rebate Program design in the Power Ahead Rebates (DRCOG) Coordinating alignment between the existing midstream programs and Xcel's launch of its new midstream HPWH rebate program to attract top manufacturers' marketing and training dollars to Colorado. Intervening 2027-29 Xcel Energy/PUC Megadocket - starts in July 2026 Our goal is to remove barriers to ensure contractors can take advantage of the DSM and CHP bonus rebates in 2027-29 to meet the EE, BE, and decarbonization shared goals in Colorado. We aim to inform, educate, and advocate for rebate program designs that are fair, reliable, and realistic for rebate processing and payouts, with standards and requirements designed for the pace of contractor business and consumer experiences. This includes: Review Xcel Energy’s megadocket July filing to request modifications to improve all DSM/BE and CHP HP residential and commercial rebates using field input on what is and isn’t working. Proposing new rebates and pilot programs for new incentives, load flexibility, DR, etc. Addressing systemic DSM/CHP problematic operational rebate program practices and timing for: transparency application/corrections processing rebate reimbursement processing Be a part of the Conversation.
